X-Men: The New Mutants is fully embracing its horror film themes once again in the film's latest teaser clip, which promises a "darker" future ahead.
Putting Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams' character Rahne Sinclair/Wolfsbane in the spotlight, the brief 10-second clip shows Wolfsbane lying prone and lifeless on the ground as snow falls around her.
"Things will only get darker," the caption teases.

The film's first full trailer dropped back in October and established itself as more of a teen slasher film than your typical superhero movie, following a group of powerful young people who are trapped in a creepy medical facility.
Director Josh Boone later teased that New Mutants could become the first of a horror film trilogy for the X-Men franchise, revealing: "These are all going to be horror movies, and they'll all be their own distinct kind of horror movies.
"This is certainly the 'rubber-reality' supernatural horror movie. The next one will be a completely different kind of horror movie.
"Our take was just go examine the horror genre through comic book movies and make each one its own distinct sort of horror film, drawing from the big events that we love in the comics."
The film also stars Stranger Things' Charlie Heaton as Sam Guthrie/Cannonball, Henry Zaga from 13 Reasons Why as Brazilian mutant Roberto da Costa/Sunspot, and Split star Anya Taylor-Joy will appear as Illyana Rasputin – aka Magik.
X-Men: The New Mutants will be released on April 13, 2018.
