AMAZON PRIME
Prime subscribers will find a nice mix of classic and modern horror, with a nice dose of recently added Stephen King titles.
An American Werewolf in London (1981)
John Landis directed this terrifying horror comedy about two American college students on a walking tour of Britain are attacked by a werewolf that none of the locals will admit exists. Features some of the best creature effects you'll ever see. A must-watch if you've never seen it.
Best Worst Movie (2009)
The only documentary on this list takes a look at the making of the 1990 horror film "Troll 2" and its journey from being crowned the "worst film of all time" to a cherished cult classic.
Carrie (1976)
Skip the shoddy sequel and remake and settle on Brian De Palma's outstanding adaptation of Stephen King's novel about a friendless teenage girl (Sissy Spacek) who is sheltered by her domineering, religious mother (Piper Laurie), unleashes her telekinetic powers after being humiliated by her classmates at her senior prom. So much classic horror imagery, up until the final chilling moment.
